Babs · 1 year agoWell, I got a call from said place of employment not long after I talked to you. They're there and I get to enjoy them tomorrow night on my otherwise LONG shift. All's well that ends well.

forlorn boater · 1 year agoOur cable internet in north Louisiana is gawdawful as well; it went out if it even looked like it was going to rain. I went with BellSouth DSL about 2 years ago and I don't think that it has ever gone down.

Chris · 1 year agoAnother poke for proflowers.com< />< />Good service, reasonable prices, great quality.< />< />(no, I'm just a customer)< />< />I'd like to add TimeWarner, Dish Networks, and SWBell to your sux list. Why do cable, satellite, and broadband companies have so many quality of service issues? For the money they charge, the service is just plain bad.

philthemedic · 1 year agoIt's like that in major cities too. Back home in Dallas, there could be gale-force winds and thunder, but if there's just a drop of rain, the power and cable go out. You'd think they'd be more keen on that stuff in locations with severe weather.

Gene · 1 year agoScrew proflowers, ftd, flowers.com; I've tried them all and had problems. I screw up a lot and flowers have this amazing effect on the distaff side. :)< />< />The best service and delivery I've ever gotten is from Calyx Flowers (formerly Calyx and Corolla) http://www.calyxflowers.com/Default.aspx The one time that the delivery company left a dozen roses sitting in a hot truck on a July day in Phoenix, I called them and they replaced the flowers next day with two dozen.< />< />They aren't inexpensive, but the flowers last seemingly forever; definitely longer than what I get at the local florists.

Clarinazi · 1 year agoOn the comm notes...all I can say is that I feel ya (http://clarinazi.blogspot.com/2007/< />10/cox-can-nibble-my-taint.html)< />< />...and on the flowers-it's the thought that counts. The flowers don't hurt either, but flowers on a not-so-obviously romantic day count even more. Send them to her on June 3 or March 20 or some random date conceived by your computer just to let her know that you're still the romantic guy she loves on V-day...< />< />Just my $0.02 worth

Sigivald · 1 year agoPretty much all the big "deliver flowers" companies just use local florists anyway, and that's where most of the screw-ups occur.< />< />You're probably better off just calling a local florist in her county, direct.

Sparrow · 1 year agoI swear by Proflowers, too. I've used all of them, and they are the only ones whose flowers last more than two days.

Anonymous · 1 year agoFTD is HORRIBLE - last year for Mother's Day I ordered a bouquet for her through FTD. They delivered DEAD flowers. It wasn't until filing a complaint with BB that I got my refund.

kvegas911 · 1 year agoCable sucks period. We've gone with Directv and DSL....not a problem one, the only time we had a sat issue it was practically a hurricane out and that was just for about 2 minutes. I snarled my last at Time Warner Cable (YOU SUCK TWC!!) a few years ago and haven't looked back since.
