Matt M · 1 year agoIn Houston the grocery runs are over, and the gas stations are closing. Gas costs 25 cents more today than two days ago, in part because the refineries are probably going to take it in the ass.< />< />It will get noisy tonight, and in the morning light I expect AD to be on the job. Chain saw injuries, heat exhaustion, and people sickened by spoiled food will be his customers over the next several days.

I truly hope you stay safe and sound - and update your blog hourly! I'm in OH and we're getting heavy storms and super high gas prices so I can only imagine what you have to go though!

TOTWTYTR · 1 year agoI heard from AD by phone a little while ago. He made it through the night just fine. < />< />Lot's of wind, lot's of rain, some flooding. A tree fell at the station and landed on the car next to AD's truck. Unfortunate for the owner, but good for AD because his truck wasn't damaged. < />< />He's going to catch some sleep and go back to work in a few hours. Extra units being put in service, so extra staff is needed.
