My youngest (age 6) just got glasses yesterday. She's not sure if she likes them - and is still trying to play "Let's Make A Deal".. "Well, if I wear them to school, can I take them off when I get home?"

Her sister (age 9) however, is GREEN with envy. She does NOT like her baby sister to have things that SHE doesn't have. "But I'M older! Shouldn't I get glasses FIRST?!"

Too funny. Plus they're bright purple. Tres cool. :)

Ohmigod, she was standing right in front of the Booie Noff display! That looked like the 125 Pieces for $39.95 Deal I seen on late-night teevee!

Heh, you don;t know the half of it, Don. The Husband In Law runs this booth every year, and he can cart $300 worth of inventory out there and make $2500 in a weekend, selling crappy knives to the rubes who think they're getting a $50 knife for $10, when in reality they're getting a $2 knife for $10.

He does stumble into some good deals he passes on to friends, though. Had a Cold Steel GI tanto in the case that retails for over $100, that he was selling for $60... because he got it for $40.

As long as they're not bifocals, try this site (given to me by my optometrists) for amazingly cheap (and really good!) glasses online.

So husband in law is a Shriner, then?

Very cute, AD. Second-cutest kid in glasses I've seen today.

(First cutest would be the handsome young gentleman on the left in this pic...)

Wow! You must have done something pretty durn good in a previous life to get such a cute kid!
  • Mark · 2 months ago
She looks ready to tackle the range in fine style.

SQUEE!!! Love the reply to the doctor.

(Hopefully, my little Wolfslayer won't need glasses, but the genetic odds don't look good. I'm the only one on either side who can see his own feet without glasses, and even I wear corrective lenses.)

    Totally cute!

Hey, did we ever get pictures of the girl at the range??? I want a pink rifle!!!! LOL

From one four eyes to another....

When she gets big enough, you'll need to get her a set of ESS shooting glasses - The ones that you can put the script lenses into - they ROCK!
